It was also conducted in three candidate countries (Turkey, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, and Montenegro) and in Iceland and Moldova. The survey covers the national population of citizens as well as the population of citizens of all the European Union Member States that are residents in these countries and have a sufficient command of the national languages to answer the questionnaire.
