DWEIGHT_HH: Design weight - household sample
This weight variable serves to compensate for unequal selection probabilities introduced by the sampling design, specifically, the use of household sampling.
COMMENT ON DWEIGHT_HH: DWEIGHT_HH should be computed such that the sum of the individual case weights equals the case count of the unweighted net sample (=number of cases in the data set). If no such design weight is computed, the variable DWEIGHT_HH must be set to the constant '1'. Details about construction of the household-sampling design weight must be provided with the national Technical Report. ....................................................................................................................................................................
AT: No. AU: No. CH: No (the sample frame is individual based and the sampling is pure random, so that every resident in Switzerland has equal chance to participate). CN: Yes. CZ: No. DE: No. DK: No. FI: No. FR: No. HR: No. HU: No. IL: No. IN: No. IS: No. IT: No. JP: No. MX: No (not necessary despite household sample). NL: Yes (based on the number of household members 16 years and over since the lower age cut-off for the survey was 16). NO: No. NZ: No. PH: No. PL: No. RU: No. SI: No. SK: Yes. SR: No. TH: No. TW: No (because DWEIGHT_HH cannot be provided, see errata). US: Yes. ZA: Yes, but currently there is no separate weighting factor for the design weight, only a combined weight (see WEIGHT_COM and errata).

Note:
/ ZA: Separate weighting factors for the design weight will be delivered as soon as possible (see errata).
