Where would you put yourself now on this scale? BE: The scale (on card 24) represents the place that someone can have in society. The number 1 represents a place on the bottom of society. The number 10 a place on the top of society. Where would you place yourself on this scale? You can give a number from 1 to 10. CL: In our society there are groups that place themselves on the highest levels, and groups that place themselves on the lowest levels. Here is a scale that goes from the lowest to the highest level. Where on this scale would you place yourself? CN: What level do you think you belong to now? Record Score - Note: 10 stands for the highest class and 1 stands for the lowest class. ES: In our society, there are groups that tend to occupy a high or very high position, while others occupy middle or low positions. Some social classes are higher and some lower. On a scale from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest class and 1 the lowest, where would you place yourself? Please circle only one number. Das Modul befasst sich mit gesundheitsbezogenen Fragen, wie z. B. der selbst eingeschätzten Gesundheit und dem Wohlbefinden, den persönlichen Erfahrungen mit der Gesundheitsversorgung (Hindernisse für die Behandlung und regelmäßige Betreuung aufgrund von Zahlungsunfähigkeit, Entfernung zu Diensten, mangelnde Vertrautheit mit dem medizinischen System usw.), der Zuversicht und dem Vertrauen in das Gesundheitssystem, der relativen Bedeutung, die verschiedenen Bereichen der Gesundheitsversorgung beigemessen wird (psychische Gesundheit, Zahngesundheit, Palliativmedizin, Gesundheitsförderung usw.), der konventionellen (westlichen) gegenüber der alternativen Medizin, den Gesundheitssystemen und der Zufriedenheit mit den Gesundheitsdiensten.

The International Social Survey Programme (ISSP) is a continuing annual program of cross-national survey collaboration, covering a wide range of topics important for social science research. Since 1985 the ISSP provides international data sets, enabling cross-cultural and cross-temporal research.

The module deals with health related issues, such as self-reported health and well-being, personal experiences with health care (barriers to treatment and regular care due to inability to pay, distance from services, no familiarity with medical system, etc.), confidence and trust in the health care system, relative importance placed on various health care fields (mental health, dental health, palliative care, health promotion, etc.), conventional (Western) vs. alternative medicine, health care regimes, and satisfaction with health care services.
