?:abstract	Attitude to school, education expectations and leisure interests of High School students in Illinois as well as their parents. Sociometric data on friends and family of schoolchildren and teachers. Topics: the data set contains two surveys of schoolchildren and one survey of parents. The schoolchildren were asked among other things: school situation; school activities; judgement on the school, classmates and teachers; leisure activities; social contacts; friendships; preferred types of music and performers; fashion style in the reference group; consumption of semi-luxury foods, tobacco and alcohol; social origins; family situation; religiousness; influence of parents on personal decisions; concepts of occupation; mobility readiness; interest in studies and preferred university; preferred political party; automobile company; watching television. Beyond this school grades, the results of an intelligence test, and the frequency of absence at school were recorded. Sociometric data: number of choices given and received at both times of investigation; reference group system of the schoolchildren and mechanisms of conveying status. The schoolchildren were interviewed again about 6 months after the first survey (autumn) with a comparable questionnaire. The mail survey of parents was conducted by means of a comparable questionnaire. Among other things they were asked: level of eductional aspiration; attitude to school; school situation of children; memberships; social contacts. (en) Einstellung zur Schule, Bildungserwartungen und Freizeitinteressen von High School Schülern in Illinois sowie deren Eltern. Soziometrische Daten zur Primärumwelt von Schülern und Lehrern. Themen: Der Datensatz enthält zwei Schülerbefragungen und eine Elternbefragung. Die Schüler wurden u.a. gefragt: Geschlecht; Schulsituation; schulische Aktivitäten; Beurteilung der Schule, der Mitschüler und Lehrer; Freizeit aktivitäten; Sozialkontakte; Freundschaften; präferierte Musikrichtungen und Interpreten; Modestil in der Bezugsgruppe; Genußmittelkonsum; soziale Herkunft; Familiensituation; Religiosität; Einfluß der Eltern auf eigene Entscheidungen; Berufsvorstellungen; Mobilitätsbereitschaft; Studieninteressen und präferierte Universität; bevorzugte politische Partei; Kfz-Betrieb; Fernsehkonsum. Darüber hinaus wurden die Schulnoten, die Ergebnisse eines Intelligenztests, die Häufigkeit des Fehlens in der Schule erfaßt. Soziometrische Daten: Anzahl der abgegebenen und erhaltenen Wahlen zu beiden Untersuchungszeitpunkten; Bezugsgruppensystem der Schüler und Mechanismen der Statusvermittlung. Die Schüler wurden etwa 6 Monate nach der ersten Befragung (Herbst 1957) mit einem vergleichbaren Fragebogen erneut befragt. Die postalische Befragung der Eltern erfolgte anhand eines vergleichbaren Fragebogens. Sie wurden u.a. gefragt: Bildungsaspirationsniveau; Einstellung zur Schule; Schulsituation der Kinder; Mitgliedschaften; Sozialkontakte. (de)
