  • Economic development as a global goal imposed inthe national, regional, and local order has ended up becoming an enemy of the planet itself, an economic development divorced from nature and man itself, which will constantly lead to a series of affectations, which transgress rights, ways of life of communities, by applying an exercise of vertical power, in aclear asymmetry of power. In the case of the peasant community of the El Naranjal village of the municipality of Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia, where it was possible to recognize that the affectations to its daily life are based on the construction of a road megaproject of priority interest to the nation, whichaffected the peasant life and its permanence in the territory in decent conditions with guarantee of fundamental rights.
