?:about
?:abstract
  • The essays that make up this book have been written to commemorate the first 40 years of GRADE's institutional life, which coincides not only with the Bicentennial of Peru's Independence, but also with the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and its profound economic, social and political consequences. From different conceptual and methodological perspectives, these texts address some of the challenges facing the country today, considering their impact on people's well-being. They also reflect some of the topics that our researchers have worked on intensively in recent years: education, segregation, inequality, vulnerability, violence, as well as reforms, territorial planning, governance, innovation and social policies. Without pretending to exhaust the discussion on any of these topics, the essays contribute to research and proposals aimed at the search for knowledge and its applications for the development of the country and the welfare of its citizens.
