?:abstract
  • The sociocultural dynamics of indigenous peoples in the last decades of the Twentieth century, has been conceived as a fundamental social situation in the debate of rethinking democracy beyond the models/schemes, lines, and traditions imposed by the dominant groups in Our America. The weakness of the political regimes, the delegitimization of the parties, and the desolation of the institutions due to the inability of the State, has been recognized as a moment, which reflects the contradictions within the neoliberal society and the interests of hegemonic groups.
