  • Teacher training for vocational schools in Germany is facing problems: Due to the strong interconnection with general teacher training, a targeted vocational teacher training is only feasible to some extent. The articles in the anthology discuss options for an overarching general curriculum. They take into account the current competence discussion in teacher training, as well as the area of vocational education/training. The authors introduce considerations for an overarching approach for training phases and learning locations. The articles focus on the training situation in Saxony-Anhalt and include previously unpublished empirical studies from the Rhineland-Palatinate and Thuringia. (xsd:string)
