?:abstract
  • This bachelor thesis deals with the closeness-distance-conflict social workers and social work researchers face and demonstrates the connection with "going native". The term "going native" is defined and illuminated in all its implications regarding social work. This is a literary work evaluating literature from many scientific disciplines, primarily the social and cultural sciences. A wide variety of books, journals, reference books and Internet sources are analysed accordingly. "Going native" is an issue in social work. Specifically life-world oriented social work and social work research are confronted with this process. Within the framework of this thesis the risks and opportunities concerning "going native" are identified. (xsd:string)
