Note:
/ CN: High number of missing values, as SPEMPREL was only asked of respondents whose spouse or partner is currently in paid work, i.e. only in the case where their partner or spouse is engaged in non agriculture work. / DE: In order to protect individual respondents from data disclosure it was necessary to combine original 4 digit-categories before data publication based on the grouped ISCO08 categories in the German 2018 Micro Census Dataset. / FI: Responses from respondents from the Åland region were recoded to code -9 'No answer' for privacy issues, unless there was no substantive answer anyway due to the filter routing in the questionnaire. / FR: French classification of the occupations and the socio-professional categories (PCS 2003) used, then transferred into ISCO 2008. / HR: Answers to open-ended questions were coded into ISCO08 codes by the research team. / NO: As source code, the Norwegian standard classification of occupations 2008 (STYRK-08) - based on the International Standard Classification of Occupations 2008 (ISCO-08) - has been used. / NZ: Asked as free text and coded manually to ISCO08. / NZ: The order of the questions in the questionnaire was SPMAINST/ SPWORK, SPWRKHRS, SPISCO08, SPWRKSUP, SPEMPREL. / US: US Census 2010 codes recoded to ISCO08. The US data capture all spouse variables regardless of habitation status. In contrary, the US data only capture cohabitating partner variables, not information from non-cohabitating partners.
