  • JP_INC - Japan: Country specific household income

    (If HOMPOP > 1)
Before taxes and other deductions, what was the total yearly income of your household last year?
Please include any casual and part-time income.
    (en)
  • Note:
/ JP: Last year's gross income in Japanese Yen (JPY); midpoints of the income classes are coded.
/ JP: The questions about the household composition and on the personal und household income were asked in the following order: first the question about the number of household members for the different age categories (HOMPOP/ HHADULT-HHCHILDR), then the question on household income (JP_INC), which respondents who live alone skipped, and then the question on personal income (JP_RINC), which all respondents had to answer. Therefore: If HOMPOP=1, JP_INC was taken from JP_RINC (JP_RINC=JP_INC).
