  • Note:
/ FR: No option of non-response. SEX is included in weighting procedure.
/ IS: In face-to-face interviews the interviewers registered the respondents gender but did not ask. In the web survey and telephone survey respondents were asked if they were male, female, or identified in another way. No respondent chose the third option, to identify in a different way. Moreover, sex is one of the variables that come with the sample list from the National Registry of Iceland. The sample information was used for those who did not give an answer about their sex. Therefore, there are no missing answers in the dataset.
/ JP: Respondent's sex can be known also from the sampling frame.
/ NO: Item non-response replaced by data from Central Register of Persons.
/ NZ: Asked as free text. SEX includes imputations taken from the sampling frame for the cases where no response was given.
