    In total n=362 respondents indicated to do not have any formal education (v242=0) but also stated having a certain level of education (v243_edulvlvb gt 0).


    Some respondents stated to have complete a higher educational level in a low age. They could have mentioned the duration of their educational level rather than their age by completion of it. A better approximation could be to calculate the average age by completion of that level.

  • The European Values Study is a large-scale, cross-national and longitudinal survey research program conducted under the responsibility of the European Values Study Foundation since 1981. The cross-sectional surveys, repeated in a 9-year cycle, cover a broad range of topics on central areas of life such as work and leisure time, family and sexuality, religion, politics and ethics. The EVS holding includes integrated datasets on every EVS wave and, in addition, the national datasets for the 1999 and 2008 waves. Questions repeated at least twice in EVS, or EVS and WVS, are cumulated in the EVS Trend File. The EVS Trend File can easily be merged with the World Values Survey (WVS) Trend File into the Integrated Values Surveys Data File. (en)
