/ CH: Asked only for employees, self-employed and respondents working for own family's business were recoded on 'Private employer' in TYPORG2 a posteriori. / CN: High number of missing values due to the fact that agriculture work is not considered as paid work and people currently working on agriculture/ worked but never did non-agricultural work in the past are filtered out. / DK: The question above was used to build the answer categories for TYPORG2, as well as for the generation of the basic answer codes for EMPREL. / ES: The Spanish questionnaire for ISSP 2017 includes an instruction for interviewers to refer questions belonging to variables WRKHRS, EMPREL, NEMPLOY, WRKSUP, NSUP, TYPORG1/2, and ISCO08 to the main wage earner in the household only if the respondent has never worked.
