  • Note:
/ DE: Composition of household constructed from household list; distinction into adult/ child/ toddler constructed from age of household members.
/ DK: The Danish questionnaire asks the question 'How many children in household', but hasn't got the last bit of the question (children between [school age] and 17 years of age). This means that Danes answer how many children they have got in the household aged 0-17 and (if so) then they go on the next question that asks how many of these children are below school age. Therefore, originally, HHTODD is a subset of HHCHILD which has been recoded for this integration by subtracting the number of children aged [school age]-17 from the number of children between 0-17 years.
/ HU: Asked in a so called household table, in which basic demographic data is registered for each member of the household.
/ SK: Coded in 2 digits. After responding to HHTODD, if HHCHILDR + HHTODD was not equal to HOMPOP the respondent has been asked to correct his answers.
