?:abstract
  • After the statutory reforms in 2007, the situation regarding the Spanish territorial system has changed. Therefore, through a multilevel analysis, this text aims to check how public opinion has changed towards the territorial system and if there has been a change in the influence of the main variables from the political culture theories and, consequently, in the profile of those supporting further political decentralization. Thanks to the analysis carried out, we have checked how there is indeed a change in the influence of those variables, being the most important one the difference among Spanish Autonomous Communities. This database aggregates the results obtained by the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas in the different Spanish regions during the last 3 regional electoral calls and homogenized them in order to make comparisons among regions in the same country.
