Compound 4 proved to be quite unstable in DMSO-d solution and, after standing for 1 day at room temperature not shielded from the light, the H-NMR spectrum (Figure S6) showed the presence of new peaks assignable to the amino protons of the Pt(II) precursor complex [Pt(OXA)DACHEX)] (5.4-6.5 ppm).
