  • Thus, we conclude that anastrozole administered to female rats in persistent estrus at a dose of 0.5 mg/kg/day, that is 0.125 mg/day, by oral gavage for 28 days, significantly decreased Ki-67 antigen expression in the vaginal epithelium, showing an anti-proliferative effect of anastrozole on the vaginal mucosa.
