In this study, we evaluated the effect of different hypercaloric diets and different exposure times to obesogenic diets as well as the genetic deletion of leptin receptors in terms of the key pathological characteristics of obesity and T2D, with the aim of identifying the most appropriate model(s) for the study dysmetabolism.
