Four phylogenetic trees were generated, representing the full-length coding sequence (fig. 3A), the portion encoding the CBD at the 3′ end of the myo5 gene (fig. 3B), the 5′ end of the gene which encodes the motor domain with its highly conserved ATP-binding domain (fig. 3C), and the more variable portion of the myo5 gene which encodes the neck and tail regions (fig. 3D).
