BK channels kinetics have been described by a 10-state Markov model (MM) according to a model developed by Cox et al., 1997 [48] and Cox 2014 [49] in which the channel’s Ca2+-dependence is modelled at a finer grain, thus affording greater accuracy on this front than the HH formalism.
