These changes in amyloidogenesis further impacted behavior, as female Tg2576 mice with CRF overexpression showed greater deficits in prefrontal cortex-dependent working memory than male genotype- and age-matched controls and both male and female Tg2576-only mice (Bangasser et al., 2016).
