First, we examined the impact on estimates of rabid dogs in the high transmission scenario by changing the percentage of dogs neutered during the vaccination programs from 7.5% (Table 3) to either 0% or 20%, assuming use of vaccination Option 1 (50% dogs vaccinated annually).
