Funnel plots, Begg’s test, and Egger’s test were additionally performed to assess publication bias; results revealed that there was no obvious publication bias in our overall analysis for iNOS rs2297518 (p =0.564; p =0.327) and eNOS rs1799983 (p =0.511; p =0.602) (Figure 6; Table 3).
