  • Subgroup analysis, stratified by tests involving an anti-H. pylorus immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibody showed that the dominant model of iNOS rs2297518 was significantly associated with the risk of gastric cancer in H. pylorus CagA-positive cases (p=0.003, OR [95% CI] =2.19 [1.31-3.66]), but not in gastric cancer patients who were H. pylorus CagA-negative (p=0.82, OR [95% CI] =0.96 [0.65-1.41]) (Table 2).
