If gestational age computed from any individual measure differed from the mean gestational age by more than the level of accuracy at that gestational age (1 week for ultrasounds obtained before 21 weeks or 2 weeks for ultrasounds obtained at 21 weeks or later) [8], that measure was excluded from the mean estimated gestational age.
