Both the trauma-exposed and unexposed groups underwent three waves of assessments including multimodal neuroimaging and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations over a 5-year period at approximately 1.3-year intervals: time 1 at 1.43±0.22 years, time 2 at 2.68±0.32 years, and time 3 at 3.91±0.33 years after the trauma.
