The concentration of IL-6 and thioredoxin (EK0410 and EK1254, respectively, Boster Biological Technology Co., Pleasanton, USA) and S100A9 (E-EL-H1290, Elabscience Biotechnology Co., Wuhan, China) in saliva were determined by sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technique according to manufacturer’s protocol.
