Sterilized seeds were placed on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium (1/2 MS salts, and 0.7% agar), stratified for three days and transferred to a growth chamber (Sanio Electric Co) at 21°C/19°C under a 12 h day/12 h night regime, light intensity 120 μmol m-2 s-1, and 70% relative humidity.
