Adult male Wistar rats (2–3 months old, weighing 200–300 g) were housed in groups of four per cage and kept in a room with controlled temperature (22 ± 2°C) and a 12-h light/dark cycle (lights on at 07:00 a.m.) with free access to food and water, except during the experiments.
