Briefly, untreated or sorafenib-treated cells for different times (1, 3 and 6 h) were washed in ice-cold PBS and the resulting pellet was resuspended in 0.12 ml of lysis buffer (20 mM HEPES), 10 mM KCl, 1.5 mM MgCl, 1mM EDTA, 1 mM EGTA, 1 mM DTT and 0.1 mM PMSF) supplemented with protease inhibitor cocktail.
