Data are expressed as the mean residue molar ellipticity [Θ]MRW, which is defined as [Θ]MRW = Θobs (0.1MRW)/(lc), where Θobs is the observed ellipticity in millidegrees, MRW is the mean residue weight, c is the concentration in milligrams per millilitre and l is the cuvette path length in centimetres.
