However, almost all the hookah smokers (99.1%) were also cigarette/bidi smokers in our study population, and therefore it was not possible to estimate HRs associated with hookah smoking among nonsmokers of cigarette/bidi or to assess additive interaction between hookah and cigarette/bidi smoking.
