Locomotor activity data are presented as the mean ± standard error of the mean (SEM) number of beam breaks and were analyzed by mixed-factor analyses of variance (ANOVA) with housing condition (EC, IC, or SC) and treatment (saline or nicotine) as between-group factors, and with day and/or time as within-subject factors.
