For tagging JHB3 we used a similar protocol to that described for JH III, with the following modifications, 1 h incubation in 100 mM sodium sulfide at 55°C for opening of the epoxide rings and 1h incubation with 1 mM DBD-COCl in chloroform at room temperature for derivatization.
