We introduced aPKC null, zygotic mutations into both arm, GSK3 (hypomorphic arm and null GSK3 both maternal and zygotic mutants) and arm mutants. arm; aPKC double mutants maintained some patterning, and while cell shapes were somewhat disrupted, cells appeared to align into rows (Fig. 4A-B).
