In agreement with our double-labeling studies, which showed that a large number of surviving Brn3a RGCs had lost their capacity for retrograde axonal transport of OHSt, some RT97 RGCs were found within the areas that lacked labeled RGCs, as were bundles of RT97 retinal axons (Figure 9C,D and Figure 10).
