With 10 questions of 'true-false-don't-know items, the levels of knowledge on antibiotic resistance were measured. Questions on antibiotic use and antimicrobial resistance were retrieved from the Eurobarometer survey 79.4, [15, 16] . Section four also assessed respondents' experiences, respondentdoctor relationship and infection prevention.
