?:about
?:abstract
  • This article provides an overview of the current situation in the Russian natural gas sector, looking at the supply-demand balance for natural gas and some key features of the sector's organization. It also examines the main opportunities for pipeline and LNG exports. While Russia is rebalancing its East-West gas supply, the planned pipelines will not fully compensate for export losses in the European direction. The LNG sector has significant potential, but only if technological self-sufficiency is achieved. (xsd:string)
