  • The historical reconstruction is presented in three stages. Proposed from the convergence of descriptive codes derived from archival work and secondary sources. The first, called the governmental impulse stage of the association, is configured in the period from 1960 to 1970. The second, assumed as the radicalization of the peasant struggle, occurs between 1971 and 1974, and it is marked by the loss of governmental support and the appropriation of the peasant force, by thinking of a critical peasant who is formed in the struggles. Finally, the third stage exposes a relative stagnation and national weakening of ANUC, during the period between 1975 and 1980, by focusing on the differences within the association and the power of the State in the face of the weakening of the peasant force. The decades of the sixties and seventies of the twentieth century are highlighted as the period in which ANUC contributed, with greater force, in the history of peasant struggles in Colombia, with the purpose of identifying elements related to the formation of a critical peasant.
