?:abstract
  • This reflection paper will provide theoretical arguments and some empirical evidence to support the following hypothesis: with the auspices of the Magdalena Medio Development and Peace Program, remarkable progress was made in reconciliation and reduction of direct violence. However, this program has been subordinated to those, who promoteneoliberal peace, and has therefore facilitated a breakthrough of extractive economies, such as the one of African palm, which absorbed peasant economies.
