?:about
?:abstract
  • The purpose of the following review article is to unveil the research intentions of different studies and disciplines of knowledge regarding the historical and social understanding of street children in order to recognize this complex and relational reality. In this sense, a hermeneutic exercise was carried out by exhaustively examining 30 national and international articles. The analysis was based on a RAE file and the Atlas Ti. 8 program. This development made it possible to identify that studies on street children have focused on understanding the living conditions, risk factors, social imaginaries, and some indications, which seek possible relationships between education and children, who have gone through this type of experience, by outlining routes that should be taken into account in order to reestablish the right to education, mitigation of illiteracy, uprooting, and educational dropout.
