  • Research of Pythagoras' doctrine is commonly included solely within the framework of the history of philosophy, or in connection with his idea of the music of the spheres and mathematical theorems his name is marginally mentioned in the context of the theory of music and mathematics. Our intention is to highlight the timeliness of Pythagoras' ethical principles of condemnation of suicide, that we can use in the educational process of teaching of Pythagoras and the Pythagoreans in the sense of psychological care for the mental health of our students and prevention from a radical decision to end their life, as students are sometimes subjected to.
