?:abstract
  • In this article, I explore the network of volunteers helping Ukrainian refugees who have ended up on Russian territory while fleeing the war zone. Based on 31 in-depth interviews with the members of the volunteer network in Telegram, I analyze their attitudes toward the war and motives for joining the network. I further demonstrate that for the participants in this chat, helping Ukrainian refugees is in essence an alternative to anti-war street protests. (xsd:string)
