?:abstract
  • Many think tanks are becoming increasingly aware of the need for a more structured approach to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Where DEI roles exist in think tanks, they are often occupied informally by colleagues from human resources or researchers with a personal passion for these topics. During our conversations with think tank employees, we have come to realize that the lack of clear responsibilities for a Diversity Officer significantly complicates their work. Not having contractually dedicated time and resources means that individuals with DEI responsibilities often fulfill them in their free time or during unpaid overtime. (xsd:string)
