?:abstract
  • A knowledge-mediated collaboration characterization is carried out between the academics of the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) and the actors that make up the Third Sector. The study had a descriptive scope, non-experimental design, and consisted of the application of an online questionnaire to 75 professor-researchers of the UABC. The results show that collaboration with the third sector is incipient, compared to that sustained with companies or governmental entities, and is hampered by factors related to bureaucracy, the absence of highly specialized personnel and the work overload of university academics.
