  • This dissertation examines the effects of regional mobility of employees on their earnings. After an introduction to the existing literature and the theoretical background of international mobility research, the author compares the earnings of mobile and non-mobile employees in Germany as well as the development of incomes of people that change jobs within a region. The study also focuses on the questions of gender, company size and regional density of population and their effects on the level of earnings. This survey of the effects of mobility on earnings is the first comprehensive mobility study in Germany. (xsd:string)
