?:abstract
  • The development of organic agriculture in Latin America has been generated from diverse motivations, among them, the main one is the search for agricultural producers' well- being in Latin American countries. This is why it is proposed to treat this issue not as an exclusively economic isolated agricultural or commercial practice. This reflection aims to demonstrate that the practices of organic agriculture in Latin American countries including Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Nicaragua, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, are immersed in a context, which involves social, political, economic, environmental, and cultural factors; identifying as a key element the organizational processes through which each socialization and interaction unit fulfils determinant functions and roles, which are necessary to identify so that they can be integrated.
