  • Looking for creative impetus business is borrowing more and more from the arts. Creative courage is a most welcome virtue in organizations striving for innovation. This paper presents both empirical studies on courage in management and the results of an own survey on both the meaning and prerequisites of courage in artistic conduct. They show that courage is deeply rooted in the artistic, but not in the managerial professional culture. Arts-based learning might entrench those encouraging artistic attitudes and values in the professional culture of managers (xsd:string)
