?:abstract
  • This paper aims to show how standards of beauty have historically been produced and in what way are updated in culture in place. Through a panoramic beginning in the Platonic period to the present day. We will examine the place of the female body in the history, investigating the social dimension of it. Starting from the premise that the body is Capital and therefore primary locus of investment, we will analyze how the body habits sociallyconstructed are the reflection of a cultural transmission.
